Aloha! The Los Angeles Clippers will once again travel to Oahu, Hawaii as part of their preseason schedule. This time around, the team will face off against the Sydney Kings, a National Basketball Leauge (NBL) team from Australia. The team features former NBA player Andrew Bogut.
This will be the second straight season that the Clippers traveled to Hawaii. As part of their trip, the team will also be making a donation to a local school. Owner Steve Ballmer partnered with the Hawaii Tourism Authority and is looking to bring Clipper Nation to the island state.

As stated, last summer was the first time for the Clippers in Hawaii. It was a completely different roster then and fans were in awe of the possibility of a Blake Griffin led team with Danilo Gallinari now spacing the floor. Milos Teodosic also made his debut and awed us with an amazing underhand full-court pass.
The team is now completely different. All members of the last iteration of Lob City, save Wesley Johnson, are now gone. While the team looks different from training camp last season, there is still hope and promise.
Just to name a few: Tobias Harris has shown to be near All-Star level and will look to make yet another leap this season. Danilo Gallinari shined in the recent NBA Africa Game and is healthy again. The Clippers drafted two talented rookies who we will be getting our first glimpses of. Patrick Beverley will be making his long awaited return. The list goes on and on.
