5 underrated players heading into the 2018-19 season

NEW YORK, NY – FEBRUARY 12: Avery Bradley

With the NBA Regular Season rapidly approaching, the LA Clippers will head into training camp with a loaded roster that includes up to 20 players. Today, we will take a look at 5 players who should be discussed more this year.

As the Los Angeles Clippers begin a fresh start to the new season, there will be up to eight new faces this year including first round picks Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Jerome Robinson.

Many fans recognize the key contributors on this team with Tobias Harris and Lou Williams, but today, we will dive deeper into this Clippers roster and examine five players who have not been getting the recognition they deserve.

Let’s get started with Number 5…

Number 5: Sindarius Thornwell

Sindarius Thornwell was the number 48th overall pick in the 2nd Round in last year’s NBA Draft. Thornwell showed some promise throughout the season, including a monster jam on the Pelicans last year:

Thornwell will hopefully show some more promise this upcoming season. If Sindarius continues to develop, I can see him as a key 3-and-D wing in the Clippers rotation.

Many have overlooked him due to the deep backcourt the Clippers have entering the season. We should get to see Thornwell get minutes with his energy and defensive ability.

Clipper fans will get to witness more from Sin City in his sophomore season.
