The Los Angeles Clippers have a solid combination of young and established talent as it currently stands. Headed into the 2018-19 season, there are a few players who could see some much improved play.
The Los Angeles Clippers may not be the most exciting team in basketball, but they’ve certainly got some promise. Although former All-Star caliber players like Blake Griffin, Chris Paul and DeAndre Jordan are no longer with the organization, proven talents like Tobias Harris and Lou Williams still remain.
Williams may be 31 years old but is playing the best basketball of his career and is with the team for another three seasons at least. Harris recently declined an $80 million extension in hopes of earning a bigger contract next summer. In addition, the Clippers were able to obtain promising young talent through the draft in Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Jerome Robinson, as well as freeing up cap space and roster spots from the contracts of Austin Rivers and Sam Dekker.
Bearing all this in mind, here are three candidates for a breakout year with the Los Angeles Clippers this season.
